WARRIOR - SCOUT GUIDE


*The Reason why to choose for an Fighter*:

Well this is quite personal i guess, though the reason i picked a W/S myself is because i like 2h Axes / Swords. And who can handle those better then a Warrior? With weapon-masteries, AoE’s and some nice other skills to add to his arsenal. (Berserk, Stre etc). I Also like ranged classes a lot due to the ability of damaging from a distance. So these 2 combined i started to look at several other factors, like "what kind of elite skills will i gain" and "what general skills will i be able to use" etc. All these factors together i decided that W/S is the class im going to play with. And i must admit that im really happy with this combination.Your also an pretty rare combo, since most people still think it’s a weak combination. But i guess that’s personal as well, i always believe its best to try something out yourself before jumping into conclusions, so that’s what im going to do! And i hope this will help you guys/girls decide on your future class.


*Important information (a must to know!)* :

-Strength effects all physical damage, including ranged. (Warrior is the beefcake STRE wise).
1 Strength adds 2 Physical attack, and every 5 points in Strength is 1 HP.
-Dexterity only effects chance to hit and dodge. (for S/W it does add 1 Physical atk per dex).
-Stamina adds to HP and Defence.( for Warrior its 2.3 Physical defence per stamina).
1 point in Stamina is 5 HP.
-Wisdom isn’t necessary for a Warrior.
-Intelligence isn’t necessary for a Warrior.


SKILLS:

WARRIOR PRIMARY SKILLS :

-Frenzy(1); Greatly increases attack speed, accuracy and damage for 15 seconds.
*This is an a great skill. With a 5 minute cooldown u can use it often between farming and grinding, combine this with "Berserk" and/or "Blood Arrows" and your gaining an insane boost to your DPS.

-Open Flank(2); When the target is vulnerable this brute force attack causes 110%...440% main hand weapon dps to the target and weakens it.
*I don’t use this skill in the current W/S build, and i don’t see much point for this either in a 2h build.

-Probing Attack(2); Causes 70%...280% main hand weapon dps and can make the target vulnerable.
*I don’t use this skill in the current W/S build, and i don’t see much point for this either in a 2h build.

-Tactical Attack(4); Inflicts 45%...180% main hand weapon dps and additional damage if target is affected by a bleed effect caused by slash. (Requires a Two handed weapon).
*Now were talking! A Warrior/Scout is born for 2 handed combat, so you better upgrade this skill when you can. Simply put: its double damage when the bleed effect of slash is active.

-Thunder(6); To be used when the target is in a weakened state. Causes 130%...520% main hand weapon dps with an additional 2…6second stun. (Requires a one handed weapon).
*I don’t use this skill in the current W/S build, and i don’t see much point for this either in a 2h build.

-Feint(10); After the enemy dodges 80%...280% main hand weapon dps are once inflicted on the target.
*I guess this skill isn’t to bad if you have TP leftovers (PvP should be okay against dodgers).
Fact remains i don’t have enough skill TP to upgrade it. So leaving it at one.

-Surprise Attack(14); The Surprise attack causes 16.4…180.4 physical damage, additionally knocking down the target. (Must have a distance of at least 60 from the target).
*This is one of the skills im always using. My current setup is Shot-> Vampire Arrow -> Surprise attack. As far as upgrading goes, don’t go beyond 25 as it’s a waste. No more then 25 hard points needed to unlock our AoE stun "Shout".

-Taunt(18); Forces the target to turn towards you for 5…17.5 seconds.
*Awesome skill if you were a tank, but you aren’t! You’re a damage dealer, so there is no point in upgrading it.

-Moon Cleave(22);Attack multiple targets within range three times. Each attack inflicts 40%...160% main hand weapon DPS. (Requires a two-handed weapon).
*This is our Best/Strongest AoE Skill we recieve in our Carreer. Reason? We get Mooncleave perfection as a 25/25 Elite, 10 less rage cost, 20sec less cooldown. In the early levels u wont have enough tp left to upgrade it, however once you start having leftovers, make sure to max it, its 3x180%(AOE) atk on max lvl.

-Shout(26) Stuns up to 5 targets in a range of 90 for 3 seconds.
*Awesome skill for the stun. "1 point miracle". Use this when your AoE'ing or when you take to much damage then you can handle.

-One handed weapon Mastery(28) Increase damage with one-handed swords, axes, or hammers by 5%...40%.
*Well, not much i can say about this skill. as a W/S u will be holding 2h weapons all the time, so no points needed here. U will invest all your points in the 2h Mastery skill which u will obtain at level 30.


SCOUT PRIMARY SKILLS :

-Arrow of Essence(1); Enhances ranged weapon damage by 20% and raises attack speed by 15% for 15 seconds.
*Great skill for that extra damage (5min cool down). As mentioned earlier, combine this with "Berserk" + "Blood Arrows" for max damage potentional.

-Autoshot(1); Fires a shot at the target inflicting ranged weapon damage. (Afterwards Autoshot modus will be active).
*Basic skill for an Scout. I have it in a macro for an easy skill cycle. Not much has to be said about this.

-Wind Arrows(2); Quick shot at the target, causing 70%...280% ranged weapon dps.
*This is my current SPAM art when the mob is near and isn’t dead yet. Basically it has no cooldown so u can cast it as long as you want (except when your out of focus). After level 10 with the "Frost Arrow" Upgrade, it adds a slowing effect of 40% on opponents for 4 seconds. Don’t invest more then ~10 Skills from start. You will need to save your TP for more important skills later on.

-Ranged Weapon Mastery(6); Bow and Crossbow accuracy is increased by 3%...18%, and the damage is increased by 3%...18%.
*Passive skills are always a great addition, and 18% on max level is a lot. Even so, since your "scout" is the secondary class in this build, i suggest not to increase it to much since you will need your TP for other skills more. Eventually when you have TP left, max it for max damage potentional.

-Frost Arrow(10); While the effect lasts, all Wind arrows shots will have a chance to add a frost effect.
*a one point wonder, freeze your target by slowing them for 40% for 4 seconds with wind arrow!

-Mana Drain Shot(12); Within 10 seconds, target will lose 8…128 points of mana every second.
*Awesome skill in PvP, and perhaps a good addition for bossfights/casters to. TP wise i wouldn’t put any points in it yet, till you have TP leftovers.

-Lasso(14); Throw a lasso, rooting the enemy for 10…30 seconds. This effect will disappear if the target is further attacked. (Only one target at a time can be kept under control).
*Crowd Control! That’s all you need to know.

-Piercing Arrow(18) Fires a piercing arrow at the target and all enemies in a straight line behind the target for 65%...260% ranged weapon DPS plus 20...170 damage.
*I havent experienced alot with this skill yet, but i wouldnt invest much in it either. Even though it may seem like a good skill, truth is it isn't.
The pierce isnt even in a "Cone". better keep your tp for other skills like speed shooting mastery and the dex boost.



WARRIOR GENERAL SKILLS :

-Equip Axe(1); can equip 1 hand axes.
*Nice passive, your able to wear 1h Axes now with your "Scout".

-Slash(1); Inflicts 80%...320% main hand weapon dps to the target with an additional chance to add bleed effect. (Bleed effect only with equipped Axe or Sword).
*This is our bread an butter skill. When target is close enough, and rage has been build up: its time to slash them. Keep this skill maxed at all times. Great damage for 2h. Bear in mind you have an Axe or Sword equipped for the bleed.

-Enraged(4); Immediately increase rage by 20 points.
*Well not much to add here. Try to use it as often you can though.

-Whirlwind(8); Whirling in place you cause 70%...280% main hand weapon dps to the targets within range.
*AoE!! This is one of our main AoE skills in the longer run. I Wouldn’t suggest upgrading it early on since you need your TP’s for other urgent skills. However bear in mind when your hitting the higher levels its certain u will have this skill maxed.

-Berserk(12); Increases attack power by 3%...33% and decreases defence by 3%...33% for 30 seconds.
*More damage is all we want. No need to look at the lack of defence since we have tanks for that. Both classes are able to use berserk so its something you want to have maxed. Currently i have it at level 15 and im keeping it there for a while till i have more TP left (Max it in the higher lvls for max damage output).

-Defensive Formation(16); Increases defence of all group members by 5%...55% and decreases offense by 5%...55% for 60 seconds.
*Although we want max damage for our class, its advisable to upgrade this skill on the higher levels. Example would be: If your doing dungeon/instance runs with a party, the 55% extra def would be lovely for "Mages & Priests". Then again don’t bother upgrading this skill before your level 40-50.

-Brute Strenght(20); Increases strength by 10...60 points.
*Its a passive, and its damn handy to! Make sure to have enough TP when you hit level 20, so u can max it right away. After that keep it maxed till around lvl 40. Then move over to different skills until u have enough TP to max this.


SCOUT GENERAL SKILLS :

-Bow Training(1); can equip bows and crossbows.
*Awesome, our warrior can equip a bow now! Extra stats when xmuting.

-Shot(1); Fires one shot at the target causing 70%...297.5% ranged weapon dps.
*One of our first "ranged" attacks we receive with our primary class. Keep this skill maxed the entire time since we can use it with our primary for pulling.

-Vampire Arrows(4); Inflicts 23.5…240.9 points of damage and additionally draws 16…416 HP every 2 seconds for 10 seconds.
*Best ranged skill starter ever in early/mid game. The damage this skill causes in the early levels is awesome. You will kill so fast with it, so my advice is to keep it maxed at all times.

-Joint Blow(8); Causes 16.4…180.4 points of physical damage and slows the target by 40% for 4…10 seconds.
*Nice skill never the less, i wouldn’t upgrade it though in the beginning. You are going to need all your points in the "General" section of skills for the scout.

-Blood Arrow(12); For 60 seconds, every 2 seconds your HP are reduced by 2%...8% and the physical attack of your ranged weapons is increased by 10%...35% (right click the buff icon to stop the effect).
*More Ranged damage. Maxing this skill is a good idea since you can always toggle this skill on and of. When your in a party u can keep this buff up and running for that extra damage.
Combine this with Berserk for max potentional.

-Throat Attack(16); Causes 16.4…180.4 physical damage and interrupts the targets spell casting. (The interrupted spell will enter a cooldown phase. If the interrupted spell has no cooldown, all spells will enter a cooldown time of 3 seconds).
*Nice against mages, and spell casters/bosses in game. Being able to interrupt a spell can be a lifesaver. It’s a one point wonder since you don’t need more points in it for the effect.


WARRIOR ELITE SKILLS :

-Skull Breaker(15/15); Precise Strike at the enemy’s head that causes 80%...300% main hand weapon dps and has a 50% chance of lowering the targets accuracy by 10%...40%.
*Bread and Butter skill to da bone! Pull the mobs with your range attacks, and when there close start bashing with Skull breaker (it costs focus <3).>It’s the best skill you receive for close combat. In most cases you will follow your SB with an slash etc


SCOUT ELITE SKILLS :

-Battle Instinct(15/15); Temporary raises your dexterity by 5…55 points for 180 seconds.
*Great buff for a Scout. Even though were focussing on our Warrior to be the main class, with tp leftovers i would certainly upgrade this skill to the max.


KNIGHT - ROGUE GUIDE


Knight/Rogue- Blackguard


There a very good reason they are feared. Knight/Rogue is the only one of the K/X combination that could be consider the jack of all trades (in my opinion). Many say this combination is the worst of the Tanks but when you think about it, what is a tank? A tank is often the class who is best at mitigating damage and building aggro. The K/R combo is able to do both in their own way. All knights maintain aggro primarily through the usage of Holy Strike and Whirl Wind Shield. The K/R combo is one of the best combo for increasing the effectiveness of Holy Strike. Thanks to the elite God Sword, HS has a 40% chance to crit; increasing aggro significantly. When coupled with a +6 Necklace and Maxed Crazy Blade, 62.935% of the time HS will Crit. Furthermore with the addition of duel +18% Crit dmg rings whenever your HS crits you do an extra 36% dmg. When it comes to this no other K/X class comes close to building Aggro using only HS; except maybe K/S. Finally K/R is the only of the K/X combo that further adds for versatility to HS with it 50/50 elite; which add a chance to increase Defense. This is a huge advantage seeing as HS is spammable and Defense bonus further help mitigate damage.

Now on to Mob tanking, every K/X can tank mobs thanks to the OP'ness of Whirl Wind Shield. However some combo do shine above others. K/W, K/M, and K/R are the only 3 of the 5 K/X combo that even offer anything more to Mob tanking. With K/W has increase damage on WWS to build more aggro and an extra AoE named Whirlwind. K/M has Holy Light Domain and Lighting Armor to inflict DoT. Finally K/R gains a second AoE move called Dance of the Two Blades, which when max does 200% main hand DPS twice to multiple targets for a cooldown of 10 seconds.

Now lets do some calculations.
K/R wielding T8 Orange 1-H Sword: 1003.5pdmg/2.4(thanks to the skill Nimble Hands)= 418.125 weapon dps
K/W wielding T8 Moa's Maddness: 1081.5pdmg/2.8= 386.25 weapon dps

Over a course of 30 seconds if you only include AoE skill K/W can pull off 6 WWS and 3 Whirlwind. While K/R can pull off 6 WWS and 3 DoTB.

K/W= 386.25(2.45)(6)+386.25(2.8)(3)= 5677.875+3244.5= 8922.375 AoE dmg
K/R= 418.125(1.8)(6)+418.125(4)(3)= 4515.75+5017.5= 9533.25 AoE dmg
As you can see K/R has the overall better AoE Tank ability in terms of damage.

Boss Tanking: The 3 most important skills when it comes to tanking bosses are HS, Threaten, and Mana Return. K/R has the advantage in HS compared to all K/X (except maybe scouts). There is no buff for Threaten so all class are equal in this catagory. Oh wait I'm wrong hehehe, K/R has the ability to duel wield and a weapon speed boost. This allows them to stacks light seals faster. With this K/R has the ability to keep Threaten up longer. What do you mean keep Threaten up longer, they all have the same buff time. Well... while spamming Threaten and HS, a knights mana begins to run low very quickly. But with the increase stacking speed a K/R is able to use Threaten and Mana Return with enough seal still left for the next threaten. With more mana you can keep Threaten up much longer and your pots should cover for your HS mana cost. So in the end K/R is a pretty good boss tanks who only rival is maybe the K/S.

Mitigation
Now I'm not going to say K/R has the best mitigation of all K/X cause I would be lying. However K/R does offer some mitigation with the skill Agility and a decent amount of Dex, your dodge rate could be considerably higher then most K/X. With how the game is now stacking Pdef after a while doesn't do much since there is a cap and it easily reached. With K/R reaching the cap on Pdef and a decent dodge rate it "could" have the highest mitigation amongst all K/X in some scenario (except K/P).

To end off K/R also get the skill Shadowstab on his rogue side, which offer a free DPS boost for many situations. This also allow you to have more time to Regen Mana during a battle, making your even more effective. To end off K/R can solo, tank bosses, and can tank mobs. We are the Jack Of All Trades and darn good despite what some might say.

KNIGHT STAT VALUE

1. Stamina: increases physical defense, maximum health, and health regeneration. Each point in Stamina adds:
  • 5 HP
  • 3 Pdef
  • .1 HPR/Tick (2 sec)
2. Strength: increases physical damage and maximum health. Each point in Strength adds:
  • 2 Patk
  • .2 HP
3. Dexterity: increases physical damage, as well as chance to hit and dodge (value unknown).

4. Intelligence: increases magical damage and maximum mana. Each point in Intelligence adds:
  • 2 Matk
  • .2 Patk
  • 1 MP
5. Wisdom: increases magical defense, maximum mana, mana regeneration, magic hit rate, and healing. Each point in Wisdom adds:
  • 5 MP
  • .1 MPR/Tick (2 sec)
  • 2.4 Mdef


SKILLS

-Knight Primary Skills



  • Mana Return: Useful especially during long solo fights, definitely worth to upgrade, if u use dual wield (which stacks seals faster) it works better. Should be high enough to cover 3 Holy Strikes (later on you can max it).
  • Whirl Wind Shield: This is your first aoe (and crowd controller) and it should be maxed or near maxed. Keep it at 0 if you don't except to tank instances until endgame.
  • Charge: I left it on 25 (can max it later on). This skill is only useful for its stun.
  • Threaten: Very useful skill however you should leave at 0 till endgame, then max it.
  • Shield Mastery: Should be maxed or near maxed. Keep it at 0 if you don't except to tank instances until endgame.
  • Hatred Strike: Keep at 0 till endgame.
-Knight General Skills


  • Holy Strike: Keep it at 50% to 75% of your level (max it later on).
  • Disarmament: Keep it at zero, this skill only useful for its effect.
  • Enhanced Armor: Max it!
  • Defense Technique: Max it!
  • Resilience: Max it!
  • Devotion: Keep it at 0 till endgame then max it.
-Knight Elite Skills


  • Lvl 15/15 God's Sword: Get it as soon as possible!
  • Lvl 30/30 Crazy Blades: Max it at endgame.
  • Lvl 35/35 Dance of Two Blades: Max it at endgame.
  • Lvl 50/50 God's Vengeance: Get it as soon as possible!
-Rogue General Skills


  • Shadowstab: It is easily spammable and has fine dmg, that is my basic fighting skill and should be maxed.
  • Agility: Max it!
  • Nimble Hands - This is cool, definitely maxed, raises your overall dps (damage per second).
  • Throw- Good for pulling and should be kept at zero.
  • Blind Stab- Only good for its blind and should be kept at zero.

Order of TP Distrubtion Importance

  1. Holy Strike
  2. Shadowstab
  3. Whirl Wind Shield (only if planing to tank for party)
  4. Enhance Armor
  5. Defense Technique
  6. Shield Mastery (only if planing to tank for party)
  7. Mana Return
  8. Resilience
  9. Nimble Hands

KNIGHT GEAR

-Class Sets

After reaching lvl 12 and obtaining your secondary class you should go to Logar to get the:
Logar Set: 3/3
Chest: Things that go Bump (end of the doctor/Daisy chain)
Legs: Final Clue (killing Anglie at the end of the Barren Caves chain)
Boots: Logar's Spear (end of the Dead Tree chain)




From lvl 15-16 you should to go Silverspring to get the:
Silverspring Set: 4/4
Chest: Killing The Kobold Leader Kipos (starts with Carphil, Howling Mine zone)
Gloves: Scheming Yuri/Yuri's Ledger quest (starts with the man in front of Theron and Winsil. After killing Yuri, you obtain a book, this book allows you to pick up the gloves.)
Legs: Morrison (starts with Winsil Final Quest on the Maidges Farm chain)
Boots: Good News for the Farm (starts with Omyr at the Caravan, end of the Dorian Farm chain)




From lvl 21-23 you will begin to quest for the Top-Secret Records Set (still in Silverspring):
Secret Files Set: 5/5
Chest: Mage Who did not Return (End reward on the Bloody Gallery chain)
Shoulders: NPC after the "Zombie Duke" boss (inside Abbey,turn in to Hugo on island )
Gloves: Strange Treasure Chest (Zerhidon chain)
Legs: Documents in Darkness (Abbey chain)
Boots: Ancient Dreamland (Dreamland chain)




-End Game Gear
At lvl 50 you will mainly be wearing any armor you come along and find that they are good. However from the chart below:

You can see that you will mainly be wearing plate armor with the exception of Chain Belt and Cloth Boots, due to the stamina bonus when +ing you items.

Once you got some decent armour with decent stats you can move onto the "true" endgame gear. This consist of Black Victory Set and Red Thunder Rage Set. These set bonus for the most part will over-ride the Cloth Boots rule.







Soloing- 2h Sword/Hammer

You should keep Holy Seal and Endurance Armor up at all time. Your high DPS rotation is: Charge-> Blind Spot-> Shadowstab until out of energy-> 3 Holy Strike-> Rinse and repeat. Use mana return when ever possible.

When trying to farm daily items from mobs lower level than yourself you can draw as many enemies as you can handle (and you should be able to tank quite a few between upgraded chain/plate armor and potions). With that many mobs hitting you use WWS and GoTB whenever they recharge, spam Shadowstab until out of energy-> 3 Holy Strike-> Rinse and repeat. Use mana return when ever possible. Notice if you follow my guide exactly then you wouldn't be using this method until endgame.

Party Play- 1h Sword/Hammer and Shield

Most of the time, you would enter battle using WWS (and continue using it upon recharge). You will then follow up with GoTB (if you have it trained). Otherwise you will be spamming Holy Strike, while using Mana Return whenever possible. If WWS misses and a mob begins to target other party members use charge it catch up to it and continue as told above.

Boss Play


If you are well geared your character will be duel wielding. Duel wielding allows you to stack light seals much faster so you can generate better single target aggro. You will start off with charge (and continue using it upon recharge) and immediately cast Hatred Strike afterward. Then start spamming Holy Strike. When sufficient aggro is generated on the boss begin stacking 4 disarmament and continue spamming Holy Strike. Whenever 3 light seals are up, your rotation of seal required skills will be Threaten-> Mana Return-> Threaten. You should be able to keep threaten up at all time thanks to nimble hands and duel wielding.

If you are under geared your character will be going 1h Sword/Hammer and Shield. You'll basically be going through the same motion as above. Except you should be a little more lenient on your usage of Threaten as mana is going to be scarce.

*Remember to use Holy Shield when in a dire situation.*

Dual Class System


Mari kita melihat lebih jelas bagimana implementasi Dual Class System di dalam Runes of Magic agar dapat memilih kombinasi class yang benar-benar pas untuk gaya bermain kamu.

Salah satu fitur paling menarik dalam Runes of Magic adalah Dual Class System. Fitur ini memberikan pemain kebebasan untuk memilih dua dari enam class yang tersedia saat ini, yaitu Scout, Knight, Warrior, Mage, dan Priest. Ada dua tambahan class baru pada Chapter 2 nanti, yaitu Druid dan Warden.

Dalam pembuatan karakter, pertama kamu hanya memilih satu dari enam class tersebut dan akan memainkannya sampai level 10. Pada level ini kamu baru bisa mengambil class kedua. Kamu akan mengawali permainan di Pioneer Colony di Howling Mountains dan pada level 5 kamu akan menemui seorang gubernur di Logar untuk mendapatkan sebuah rumah. Ketika mencapai level 10, sebuah pesan akan tampil yang memberitahukan kamu untuk mengunjungi lagi gubernur tersebut. Dia akan memberikan sebuah quest untuk mengunjungi seorang class trainer di kota besar Varanas di Silverspring.

Di tempat inilah kamu akan mendapatkan class kedua, pastikan kamu memilih dengan benar karena sekali mengambil class kedua, kamu tidak akan bisa mengubahnya, satu-satunya cara adalah dengan membuat karakter baru. Tetapi nantinya kamu bisa kapan saja menukar posisi class pertama dan kedua.

Ada beberapa batasan ketika kita dalam keadaan dual class, tergantung mana yang pertama (primary) dan yang kedua (secondary). Sebagai contoh, dual class berikut ini adalah priest dan rogue. Priest telah mencapai level 1-10 dan rogue dipilih ketika priest pada level 10. Jika kamu mengubah posisi sekarang, level kamu akan terlihat sebagai Rogue Lvl 1/Priest Lvl 1. Ketika kamu leveling dengan keadaan seperti ini, rogue akan mendapatkan experience (EXP) dan Talent Points (TP) dan ketika rogue mencapai level 2, demikian juga dengan priest secara otomatis naik ke level 2. Ini akan terus berlanjut sampai rogue dan priest sama-sama mencapai level 10. Karena priest sebenarnya belum melebihi level 10, ketika rogue mencapai level 11 priest akan tetap di level 10 dan akan terbaca Rogue Lvl 11/Priest Lvl 10.

Singkatnya, class pertama dan kedua ini memiliki level sendiri-sendiri, yang menjadi class pertama akan mendapatkan EXP dan TP ketika sedang menaikkan level. Ingat bahwa EXP dan TP sama sekali tidak dibagi dua, jadi kamu juga akan bisa meningkatkan skill masing-masing class secara terpisah.

Nah, berbicara lanjut mengenai skills, penggunaannya tergantung mana yang sedang aktif sebagai primary dan secondary. Semua skill dalam satu class di RoM dibagi menjadi dua, yaitu General dan Specific. Di dalam game, kamu dapat melihatnya dengan menekan tombol "K". Skill-skill yang masuk dalam kategori Specific hanya dapat digunakan ketika class tersebut aktif sebagai primary, kemudian skill-skill yang masuk dalam kategori General dapat digunakan kapan saja, apakah class tersebut primary atau secondary.

Kembali ke contoh Rogue/Priest kita tadi, dengan mode Rogue primary dan Priest secondary kamu bisa menggunakan skill General dan Specific dari Rogue, tetapi hanya skill General dari Priest.

Berikut ini adalah beberapa contoh skill General dari keenam class yang ada, sehingga kamu bisa mengetahui lebih jelas lagi apa yang bisa kamu dapatkan dari sebuah class untuk dijadikan secondary. Skill-skill berikut ini dapat digunakan pada mode primary maupun secondary.

Scout

  • Bow Training – kemampuan menggunakan bow dan crossbow
  • Shot – menembakkan senjata jarak jauh
  • Vampire Arrows – tembakan damage over time (DOT)
  • Joint Blow – serangan yang mengurangi kecepatan musuh
  • Blood Arrow – mengurangi HP musuh
  • Throat Attack – serangan yang dapat menghentikan spell casting
  • Wrist Attack – melemahkan serangan musuh

Rogue

  • Shadowface – serangan dengan efek bleed
  • Throw – melempar pisau
  • Blind Stab – serangan dengan efek blind
  • Projectile Training – menggunakan senjata lempar
  • Offhand Training – menggunakan senjata di tangan kiri
  • Agile – meningkatkan persentasi dodge

Knight

  • Holy Strike – serangan yang menambahkan light seal
  • Punishment – serangan yang mengaktifkan light seal, menambah daya serang
  • Disarmament – serangan yang mengurangi armor musuh
  • Shield of Atonement – serangan perisai yang menghentikan musuh
  • Enhanced Armor – meningkatkan armor
  • Defensive Skill – meningkatkan persentasi block

Warrior

  • Slash – serangan dengan kemungkinan bleed
  • Enraged – meningkatkan fury/rage
  • Whirlwind – menyerang beberapa target sekaligus
  • Berserk – meningkatkan serangan tetapi melemahkan pertahanan
  • Equip Axe – menggunakan axe
  • Defensive Formation – meningkatkan pertahanan tetapi mengurangi serangan

Mage

  • Fireball – spell api standar
  • Lightning – spell petir dengan kemungkinan stun
  • Wisdom – meningkatkan intelligence
  • Intensification – buff yang meningkatkan daya serang spell berikutnya
  • Silence – melakukan silence terhadap target

Priest

  • Instant Heal – sedikit heal tetapi sangat cepat
  • Rising Tide – serangan dengan elemen air
  • Regenerate – heal over time
  • Holy Aura – gelembung pertahanan
  • Magic Barrier – meningkatkan pertahanan terhadap serangan magic
  • Blessing of Rain – meningkatkan pertahanan terhadap air

Setiap kombinasi akan menghasilkan class yang kuat dan unik, namun beberapa bisa jadi lebih efisien dibandingkan dengan yang lain tergantung pada gaya bermain pemain. Kombinasi priest/mage menghasilkan karakter magic user yang sangat kuat, tetapi kedua class tersebut sama-sama menggunakan mana sehingga harus ada pengaturan mana yang lebih baik. Rogue/scout agak berbeda karena rogue menggunakan energy dan scout menggunakan concentration. Demikian juga dengan knight/warrior karena knight menggunakan mana dan warrior menggunakan fury(rage). Hampir semua skill dapat digunakan dalam kombinasi apapun, kecuali beberapa yang memerlukan senjata khusus, misalnya ada mage/knight, karena primary adalah mage dan kamu tidak dapat menggunakan shield, secara otomatis kamu juga tidak bisa menggunakan secondary skill knight yang memerlukan shield. Kombinasi mage/knight tidak bisa menggunakan skill tersebut tetapi kombinasi knight/mage bisa.

Dan yang terakhir, tidak ada skill pemakaian armor untuk secondary class. Artinya sebagai mage/knight kamu tetapi hanya bisa menggunakan cloth, tetapi jika sebagai knight/mage kamu bisa memakai armor leather, chain, dan plate. Ini adalah hal yang harus kamu ingat ketika ingin memilih sebuah kombinasi dual class, kamu juga harus mengganti armor ketika merubah posisi primary dan secondary class.

Secara keseluruhan, dual class system dalam RoM adalah sebuah fitur yang cukup familiar karena sudah ada di beberapa game sebelumnya seperti DOMO tetapi diimplementasikan sedikit berbeda yang menjadikannya cukup menarik untuk dicoba dengan 36 kombinasi. WARRIOR (Petualang berjiwa buas)
Warriors selalu merasa nyaman di setiap kondisi - entah itu di sebuah kedai atau selagi dalam peperangan. Mereka selalu menghadapi setiap tantangan dengan keberanian dan sebuah pedang yang kokoh.

SCOUT (Pengembara benua-benua luas)
Scouts menghormati ketenangan dan kemegahan dari alam liar, dimana kemampuan mereka untuk men-track, menjebak dan menembak menjadikan mereka pemburu yang berbahaya. Banyak mangsa yang terlambat menyadari hal tersebut.

ROGUE (Pembunuh yang lincah)
Rogue merasa paling nyaman kalau berada di dalam gelapnya bayangan. Mereka bergerak tanpa mengeluarkan suara dan membunuh dengan cepat. Menggunakan sepasang daggers (pisau) di kedua tangannya, rogue banyak ditakuti oleh warga Taborea.

MAGE (Master para Elemen)
Biasanya para penyihir tidak pernah meninggalkan sekolah mereka, tapi untuk memperoleh pengertian yang sempurna tentang para elemen, mereka sekali lagi mengembara ke tempat-tempat kuno dengan harapan dapat menemukan pengetahuan magis yang sudah lama terlupakan.

PRIEST (Cahaya kesucian dunia)
Priest diutus oleh kehendak Dewa mereka untuk membantu yang beriman dan menolong yang susah. Tetapi, para pasukan kegelapan hanya akan mengetahui sisi kekejaman sang Cahaya.

KNIGHT (Manusia berbaju besi)
Mempertahankan aturan-aturan suci adalah tugas utama untuk setiap Knight. Inilah satu-satunya alasan mereka mengembara ke setiap pelosok dunia. Untuk membela yang lemah dan mengalahkan semua tantangan yang dihadapi, inilah simbol pahlawan suci Taborea.
